A session key distribution method for a secure communication between sensor nodes in a ubiquitous sensor network is provided to authenticate a session key between sensor nodes by using a random number of a BS(Base Station). A first sensor node(302) transmits a session key request message for protecting a logical connection between first and second sensor nodes to a BS(Base Station)(301). The BS(Base Station) transmits a first response message, which is encrypted by using a secret key of the first sensor node, to the first sensor node. The first sensor node transmits a transfer message to the second sensor node(303). The second sensor node acknowledges encrypts values from the message transmitted from the first sensor node, and transmits a second response message to the first sensor node. Then, the first sensor node acknowledges the authentication of the session key from the second sensor node.
