A method and a system for assuring quality of a 3D(Dimensional) digital map are provided to present a standard for assuring the quality of irregular 3D information, which includes contents for logical error and excludes contours, of topological objects, such as buildings, roads, and rivers. A building inspecting module(110) extracts a point of which a residual is bigger than a predetermined range by comparing an altitude value of measurement points of a building in an original map and determines the extracted point as an error. A road inspecting module(120) extracts the point of which a slope is changed over a predetermined value or a difference from the altitude value of the ground is higher than the predetermined value by analyzing the surface of a road, and determines the extracted point as the error. A river inspecting module(130) extracts the point of which an altitude error at the measurement point on a boundary between the river and the ground is over a predetermined error range, and determines the extracted point as the error. A 3D simulating module(140) renders and outputs topology objects expressed on the ground of the 3D digital map.
