MEASURING METHOD FOR INCLUSIONS`S OXYGEN OF MOLTEN IRON

An oxygen measuring method of inclusions of molten iron is provided to find the quantity of oxygen contained in the inclusions quickly and simply by applying the area of inclusions measured by an optical emission spectrometer to a calibration line. An oxygen measuring method of inclusions of molten iron comprises the steps of: applying high voltage to a specimen sampled from the molten iron so as to generate arc, detecting spectrum from a flash of the arc and measuring the size of the inclusions contained in the specimen(S10); and measuring the oxygen amount of the inclusions contained in the specimen corresponding to the size of the inclusions(S20).
