A dual purpose panting booth for both water paint and oil paint is provided to facilitate applying the dual purpose painting booth to an existing booth and to save cost for establishing a separate painting booth for water paint. A painting booth comprises: a booth(2) having a door; a first blowing implement(10) connected to top end of the booth through a duct(3), which includes an inhalation hole(11), a filter(12), a heater(13), and a blower(14); an air ventilating implement(20) including a filtering room(23) with a dust removing filter(21) and an active carbon filter(22) and a blower(24) established on top side of the filtering room; and a second blowing implement(30) to supply high pressure cold wind to the booth.
