A method for forming a shared web space on the basis of the webDAV(Web based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) and an interface for implementing the same are provided to implement an effective and stable shared task on a webDAV server and to control activities of various users via a shared task space by efficiently setting a right for accessing the shared task. A method for forming a shared web space on the basis of the WEBDAV comprises the following several steps. A webDAV server receives a signal for requesting formation of a shared web space(S100). The webDAV server includes the shared web space which is defined with various kinds of information as attributes(S110). The server displays invitation information including a shared web space for invitation, which induces invitation to the shared web space, and information on invited general users(S120). If the invited user inputs acceptance of the invitation, the server additionally displays the information on the acceptance of the invitation(S130). A person who has formed the shared web space for invitation adds the information on the invited user to information on definition of the shared web space for invitation for making the invited user become a member of the shared web space for invitation(S140).
