A mathematics book is provided to exclude the space for explanation by simply describing explanations for formulas and theories of mathematics in a reference part and to prevent the increase of pages by avoiding repeated explanation. In a mathematics book, a title part is printed with the titles and numbers of classified units. A formula part(420) has a formula and theory portion(423) for classifying the text corresponding to the title part, in detail and describing detailed unit numbers(421) corresponding to classification, detailed unit titles(422), and formulas and theories corresponding to the detailed unit titles. Explanation parts(330,430) describe explanation for helping understanding of the formula part. A reference part(340) describes unit numbers or detailed unit numbers about the formulas and theories helping understanding of the explanation part. An index part represents the units according to the unit number in order and shows grades and semesters for each unit.
