A sealing system and a method are provided to increase the overall productivity of the back light by the mass treatment of the glass tube. A sealing system includes a feed port(100) supplying a glass tube(1) horizontally; a supporting board(130) in which the provided glass tubes are pitch-transferred; a horizontal transfer robot(140) for transferring the glass tube; a roller(155) rotating the glass tube in the heating of the glass tube; an annular heating torch heating the glass tube; a getter torch part heating up both sides of glass tube; and a circular sealing burner part which roundly seals the end part of the glass tube.
