摘要

FIELD: abrasive industry; other industries; methods of production of the zirconium electrocorundum with the high content of the tetragonal modification of zirconium dioxide.;SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of abrasive industry, in particular, to production of the abrasive materials on the basis of the zirconium electrocorundum used for manufacture of the abrasive tools for the stripping burn-free grinding. The technical result of the invention is the increased service life of the abrasive tools due to the capability of the material to the self-sharpening in conditions of the burn-free grinding. The method provides for commixing of the zirconium dioxide with the calcium oxide and yttrium oxide at the following components ratio (in mass %): the zirconium dioxide - 89-95, the calcium oxide - 4.5-10, the yttrium dioxide - 0.5-1 and roasting of the produced mixture at the temperature of 1150-1250°С. After that they conduct fusion of the produced zirconium dioxide of the tetragonal modification with the aluminum oxide and the recuperation additives and with the quenching of the melt.;EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased service life of the abrasive tools, the capability of the material to the self-sharpening in conditions of the burn-free grinding.;3 ex, 1 tbl
