Water may be supplied along the launch vehicle, in parallel with the rocket engine gaseous jet. The water curtain may have a closed shape, for example, a ring shape. Water is supplied preferably in the form of a series of flat water films.;EFFECT: reduced acoustic action on the launch vehicle and its payload due to reduced acoustic radiation of the rocket engine gaseous jet, as well as reduced gas-dynamic and heat loads on the system.;6 cl, 2 dwg
