The monolithic oscillator has an active area (13) excited to an excitation oscillation, and a passive area (14) formed in such a manner that the excitation oscillation is transferred to a section (18) of the oscillator to shift/transfer the section to a returning oscillation. The active and passive areas are partitioned in the oscillator by using an arrangement of electric contacts. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a monolithic oscillator (2) a device for positioning comprising a monolithic oscillator.
