The device has a blister band (20) with a retainer (22) for a product (24), and a suction device (35) for sucking the product. A cover band (10) is arranged between the blister band (20) and the suction device. The cover band has an area with a break-through (12), and another area (13) without the break-through. The break-through is aligned to the geometry of the retainer. A drive unit (31) moves the cover band relative to the suction device at a same speed as the band (20). An independent claim is also included for a method for removal of a product.
