The sensor (10) has a surface (13) exposed to the gas stream. Two electrodes (11, 12) are arranged at a distance from each other and to the surface in a sensing section such that the distance between the electrodes is bridged by conductive particles deposited on the surface. A conductive connection is produced between the electrodes of the sensor for deriving a measured parameter. Longitudinal structures (16) are raised to the surface exposed to the gas stream in the region of the sensing section, in which structures direct gas stream flowing through the surface in defined paths. An independent claim is also included for a method for the resistive regulation by concentrations of conductive particles in gas flows.
