The anchor bolt (3) has a longitudinal extending anchoring section (5) with an end (5a) to be fastened in the building wall (1). An anchor section (6) is arranged in extension of the anchoring section with a bearing surface (6a) for fixing a facade element (4). The anchor section is thermally separated from the anchoring section by a heat insulating intermediate layer (7). The anchor section engages around a widened end (6b) of the anchoring section like a sleeve, and is pressed with the anchoring section. An independent claim is also included for a building wall construction for fastening a facade element.
