The seat (1) has a backrest (3) hinged against a seat frame (2) between an upright usage position and a foldable functional position about a backrest axis (A). A backrest interlock (4) is provided for interlocking the backrest in the seat frame and detachable by pivoting an unlocking lever (5) pre-stressed in an interlocking position. The unlocking lever is hinged with the backrest, and a seat frame-sided dog blocks a reverse swiveling movement of the unlocking lever or a component connected with the lever in the interlocking position in a foldable functional position of the backrest.
