The motor vehicle's seat has a backrest frame (3) which is adjustable from the base position into the cargo position only while it is raked forward into the easy-entry position, then locked by return of the unlocking lever (5), and unlocked by operating of the unlocking lever. A control cam (12) is provided on the backrest frame and provided with an easy-entry stop (12b). An adjustable locking hook (16), spring-loaded against the control cam, is fitted on the backrest frame and with forward raking of the backrest frame into the easy-entry position reaches the easy-entry stop and locks the backrest in the easy-entry position.
