The operating device comprises a longitudinally stretching Bowden sheath (30) and a guiding core (35) in the form of a flexible pulling means comprising a Bowden draw. The core is coupled with the lock building group (5). The lock building group can be activated via the generation of a pulling force on the core. There is an operating system (2, 6) for generating a pulling force on the core about which the lock building group operates. At an operating section (31) of the Bowden sheath is the operating system with which the Bowden sheath is pressable from the operating section~s fixture section (32) against a support region (4) such that the Bowden sheath is bent.
