Non-guided vehicle`s longitudinal velocity controlling method, involves detecting different characteristics and/or markings for different lanes of roadway to identify special lanes such as motor-way exit
The method involves determining information over distance between vehicles (1, 4). Controlling of longitudinal velocity of the vehicle (1) is adjusted and/or allowed to a target parameter, which is modified during traveling on a preset special lane compared to a ride on a common lane of a roadway modified target parameter. Different characteristics and/or markings (5a-5d) for different lanes of the roadway are detected for identifying special lanes such as motor-way exit and access road. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method of controlling longitudinal velocity of a non-guided vehicle.
