The present invention includes an electric motor with a stator with a number of single-phase stators in each case from a pair of stator cores with claw-like teeth and a coil for generating a magnetic flux at the claw-like teeth and with a rotor for generating a torque on a rotating shaft, wherein the stator cores in each case a number of two core elements 1, the same shape, which are each provided with a recessed portion and a projecting portion for insertion into the recessed portion.
