The heat conducting material for forming heat conductive intermediate layer between a heat source and a heat sink, comprises two material components in which a phase change material is formed as first material component and a heat conducting filler material is formed as second material component in particle form. The phase change material has a fluid or paste like first phase and is converted irreversible from first phase to solid elastic second phase. The filler material is mixed with the phase change material in the first phase and is uniformly distributed within the phase change material. The heat conducting material for forming heat conductive intermediate layer between a heat source and a heat sink, comprises two material components in which a phase change material is formed as a first material component and a heat conducting filler material is formed as second material component in particle form. The phase change material has a fluid or paste like first phase and is converted irreversible from first phase to a solid elastic second phase. The filler material is mixed with the phase change material in the first phase and is uniformly distributed within the phase change material, which is convertible by supplying energy, which is transmitted from the heat source to the heat sink, or by heating over a threshold temperature after bringing the heat conductive material between the heat source and the heat sink. The phase change material exists out of two phase change material components and is convertible by physical or chemical reaction after joining both phase change material components. The filler material has an average particle diameter of 100 mu m.
