The bicycle has an arm drive and a leg drive, a crank handle (6) and a foot pedal, where the crank handle is supported in a shank or in a part, which is fastened to the shank. Supports are a part of a bicycle steering gear, where the supports are supported around a steering axis rotatably for a bicycle frame. A saddle of the bicycle is firmly connected with the bicycle frame. An intermediate handle bar, chain and/or Bowden cable are parts of the steering gear. An independent claim is also included for a method for driving a bicycle.
