PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor processing to determine whether a designated logic function in one computer is properly worked or not, by the other computer in an electronic control device having two computers.;SOLUTION: A main CPU 26 transmits a data (a throttle target position, a throttle target estimated position, and a dummy throttle target estimated position and expected value) position used when determining whether throttle target position calculating logic and throttle target estimated position calculating logic are properly worked or not, to a sub CPU 34. The sub CPU 34 calculates monitoring data to monitor whether processing results of determination is proper in the main CPU 24, by comparatively determining the data being set as a pair. Consequently, reliability for processing determining whether each logic is properly worked or not can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
