A conveyor (1) particularly for glass plates (4) in edge working machines, comprising a plurality of supporting blocks (10) which are arranged side by side so as to form a closed-shape element. The particularity of the invention is constituted by the fact that each one of the supporting blocks (10) comprises an elongated body (11) which forms, at the ends, seats for sliding engagement with guiding bars (16) supported by the frame of the edge working machine.
