The arrangement (10) has a stopper (16a) extending along a vertical direction such that a fixation portion (26) of a bonnet (12) is in support against an upper support surface (24) of an upper end (18s) of the stopper when the bonnet is in a provisional manufacturing position, where the vertical direction is perpendicular to a plane of the bonnet. A fixation unit (30) fixes the stopper on a body shell structure (14) of the motor vehicle. The stopper has a demountable fixation unit (20) which provisionally fixes the bonnet in the manufacturing position with respect to the body shell structure.
