TUNING OF A NETWORK WITHOUT INFRASTRUCTURE TOWARDS A NETWORK WITH INFRASTRUCTURE

Method for switching a communication session between first and second terminals (TA, TB) from a first network without infrastructure (RA) to a second network with infrastructure (RI) during the degradation of a first transmission channel (C1) between the terminals in the first network. In each terminal, a controller (CQ) detects a degradation of the first channel and stores last received data from the other terminal. An interface (IC_RA, IC_RI) transmits an invitation message including connection parameters relating to a second channel (C2) to the other terminal via one of the networks if the degradation is deemed permanent. One unit (EI) establishes the second channel from said other terminal through the second network so that the terminals connect via the second network to continue the communication session based on the last stored received data.
