The device has an elongated ticket band (7) in form of an unwinding roller, including mechanically weak zones traversing at its elongating axis (7a) to cut the band into tickets (23a) e.g. entry ticket. Marks (19) are carried along the band from one place to another based on a zones location. A starting and stopping unit (17) starts and stops an electric motor (9) of the band. A detecting unit (15) detects the marks for stopping the motor to interrupt a band`s advancing step, when the unit (15) reaches the marks. Cuts are formed along straight lateral edges in the continuity of the zones.
