The device has an elongated case (2) to receive a refrigerant circulation loop (10) extending from a compressor (8) via a condensation stage (C) and an evaporation stage (E). The condensation and the evaporation stages are respectively provided in a lower part (2-2) and an upper part of the case. The stages have inlets (16, 22) and outlets (18, 24) associated with holes in a wall and arranged on frontal surfaces (2-3, 2-4) of the case, respectively. The surface (2-3) has prongs with orifices receiving screws to fix the case vertically against the wall.
