The method involves opening an intake duct (7) and introducing fuel into a closed intake duct (8) at an end of an exhaust stroke in which an exhaust duct (9) is opened, where the ducts emerge into a combustion chamber (3) of a heat engine (1). The latter intake duct is opened when the exhaust duct is closed. The intake ducts are simultaneously opened at an end of an intake stroke when a load of the engine is lesser than a preset threshold. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a heat engine comprising a combustion chamber (2) a management module of a heat engine comprising a combustion chamber.
