The device (1) has a rectangular shaped protective cover (2) covering a part of rolling of apron of rolling blind at level of its internal face. The cover has a housing (3) delimited by a longitudinal edges (4) of the cover and a rib (5) projecting perpendicular relative to the face. The housing receives an inspection panel of the winding. The cover has a flexible flap (6) at the level of its external face to occupy an inactive position along which the flap extends parallel to the cover and a vertical position along which the flap takes support against a wall of lintel.
