SPACE ACQUISITION INSTRUMENT WITH REFLECTOR (S) DEPLOYABLE (S) AND HIGH COMPACITY

A spatial acquisition (IO) instrument comprises i) a deployable primary reflector consisting of at least two deployable reflective elements (Ei) which, when deployed in a final position, together define a reflective surface, ii) a secondary reflector (RS), iii) acquisition means for acquiring data from electromagnetic waves reflected by the primary and secondary reflectors (RS), and iv) an axial-type medium (SS) inside which is defined a reception area (Z3) accommodating at least a part of the acquisition means, and to which are affixed the secondary reflector (RS) and the deployable reflective elements (Ei) respectively in first (Z1 and second) (Z2) remote areas.
