Compositions (A) for dyeing keratin fibers comprise a dyeing medium containing (a) at least one oxidation base selected from 1,2-disubstituted (or 1,2-fused) 4,5-diamino-1,2-dihydro-pyrazol-3-one derivatives (I) and their addition salts and (b) thioglycerol (II). Compositions (A) for dyeing keratin fibers comprise a dyeing medium containing (a) at least one oxidation base selected from diamino-dihydropyrazolones of formula (I) and their addition salts and (b) thioglycerol (II). R 1, R 21-10C alkyl (optionally substituted (os) by one or more of OR 5, NR 6R 7, COOH, SO 3H, CONR 6R 7, SO 2NR 6R 7, heteroaryl or Ar), Ar or 5- or 6-membered heteroaryl (os by one or more of 1-4C alkyl or 1-2C alkoxy); or R 1 + R 2group completing a 5-7 membered, saturated or unsaturated heterocycle (os by one or more of NH 2, mono- or di-(1-2C) alkylamino, OH, COOH, carboxamido, 1-2C alkoxy or 1-4C alkyl (os by one or more of OH, NH 2, mono- or dialkylamino, alkoxy, COOH or sulfonyl)); R 3, R 4H or as for R 1; or NR 3R 4heterocycle as defined for R 1 + R 2; or 5-7 membered heterocycle in which C-atoms are optionally replaced by O or os N; Ar : aryl (os by one or more of 1-4C alkyl, OH, 1-2C alkoxy, NH 2 or mono- or di-(1-2C) alkylamino); R 5H, 1-4C alkyl (os by one or more of OH, 1-2C alkoxy, CONR 8R 9, SO 2R 8 or Ar) or Ar; R 6, R 7CONR 8R 9, SO 2R 8 or as for R 5; R 8, R 9H or 1-4C alkyl (os by one or more of OH or 1-2C alkoxy).
