The device has an evacuated chamber (12) of a predetermined volume permitting measurement of a determined volume of a gas or fluid pollutant traversing a measurement chamber (4) during release of a sample input of the pollutant, by linear aspiration. The measurement chamber has a reactive powder arranged in a homogeneous manner in a tubular housing, where the powder is maintained on both sides by an intake filter (9) and by an outlet filter (8) opening into the evacuated chamber.
