With the rapid increase in the population of gasoline vehicles in China, vehicle emissions have become a major concern of PM2.5, contribute both primary aerosol emission and secondary aerosol formation. However, plenty of studies focusing on the primary vehicle emission, little information on secondary aerosol formation from vehicle emissions exists in the literatures. Therefore, a series of simulation experiments were designed by using a quasi-real atmosphere aerosol evolution study (QUALITY) chamber, to simulate secondary formation of gaseous pollutants emitted from Port Fuel Injection (PFI) engine.
