The device has two pins (24, 25) of movable sliding panel (12) moving between a sliding position and a locking position, in which the pins cooperate with a complementary locking element on rails (13, 14). Lower lever (22), upper lever (23) and levers (210, 211) integrating the pins are movable in rotation along a rotation axis perpendicular to a sliding axis of the sliding panel and parallel to a plane defined by the sliding panel so as to control the passage of the pin (24) from the sliding position towards the locking position and vice versa.
