PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting temperature by which the prediction of the temperature of a material to be rolled when performing the hot rough rolling to a metallic material (material to be rolled) is performed accurately and a method of manufacturing a hot-rolled metal strip using the same.;SOLUTION: This method is a method of predicting the temperature of the material to be rolled using a difference method in hot rough rolling, cutting width in mesh dividing in the thickness direction of the material to be rolled is unevenly divided so that the cutting width is made denser as the cutting width approaches the upper surface and under surface of the material to be rolled and heat transfer from the upper surface and the under surface of the material 8 to be rolled is calculated by separating heat transfer coefficients respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
