PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular material treatment apparatus wherein the treatment time of a granular material can be markedly shortened by making the feed of a treating gas uniform.;SOLUTION: The granular material treatment apparatus 1 is provided with a casing 2, a treatment tank 3, and a distributing member 5. The casing 2 has a feed port 9 that feeds a granular material into its inside. The treatment tank 3 receives the granular material fed through the feed port 9. The treatment tank 3 tapers downwardly. At least the lower part of the treatment tank 3 is made of a material having a gas permeability enough to permit the passage of the treating gas with which the granular material is treated. The distributing member 5 is disposed beneath the feed port 9. The distributing member 5 distributes and levels the granular material on the treatment tank 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
