PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum blast device effectively carrying out vacuum blasting without imposing a burden on a worker when a welding line of a steel member is blasted from the below.;SOLUTION: The vacuum blast device is provided with: a guide sheath conduit 20 which is arranged along the welding line 112 right under the welding line 112 after field welding of the steel member; and a vacuum blast head 30 which forms a closed space by surrounding a part of a blast surface with an adhering member 36 adherent to the blast surface including the welding line 112 and injects and sucks a blast material. The vacuum blast head 30 is arranged in the guide sheath conduit 20 and is made to move in a longitudinal direction in the guide sheath conduit 20.
