PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce work when the feed length and cutting position of a wire are adjusted in wire bonding in which the wire is cut in a prescribed length, and both end parts of the cut wire are bent downward for bonding.;SOLUTION: In a bookbinding apparatus which includes a wire binding machine 2 which cuts the wire in a prescribed length and bends the wire by the descent of a stitch head 2a and a clincher 2b to bind a form bundle, a conveyer 3 for conveying the form bundle to the wire binding machine 2, and a stopper 9 for positioning the form bundle to be conveyed by the conveyer and wire-binds the form bundle positioned by the stopper 9 by driving the wire binding machine 2, a binding drive control device 12 operated by turning on a test signal input switch 13 is installed. During a binding test, the conveyer 3 and the stopper 9 are moved intermittently by turning on the switch 13, and wire hitting is carried out in the wire binding machine 2 upon each intermittent movement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
