PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sealing treatment to a hole portion in a lined existing pipe line in a live pipe.;SOLUTION: A sealing tool 1 to be used has a cylindrical part 1A which can be inserted into the hole portion P2 and which is shrunk an deformed in the longitudinal direction with its outer diameter enlarged and deformed, and an outside-pipe abutting part 1B which abuts on the outside-pipe periphery of the hole portion P2 in the state of inserting the cylindrical part 1A into the hole portion P2. In the state that the cylindrical part 1A is inserted into the pipe via the hole portion P2 until the outside-pipe abutting part 1B abuts on the outside-pipe periphery of the hole portion P2, the cylindrical part 1A is shrunk and deformed and a deformed portion 1a of the cylindrical part shrunk and deformed with its diameter enlarged and deformed is put in close contact with the in-pipe periphery of the hole portion P2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
