PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond to the problem in which it is difficult to appropriately retrieve help information according to an individual, whereas when a user presses down a help button at a loss about how to operate to display a help, the help needed is varied depending on the situation of the user.;SOLUTION: An input history accumulation means 34 holds each key which is pressed down after a certain screen is displayed and a pressing frequency thereof. When a report for pressing-down of the "help" button is received from a remote control key input 31, an input history state discrimination means 35 fetches data from the input history accumulation means 34 to discriminate an input historical state. A help discrimination means 37 extracts a currently needed help content bit from a combination of screen mode and help content bit based on the history state discriminated by the input historical state discrimination means 35 and information of a screen mode held in a screen mode holding buffer 36, discriminates a help matched thereto, and displays it on a display means 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
