PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal antirust treatment method for existing pipes with cables laid therein and an internal antirust applicator by which rust prevention for the inner surface of existing pipes in which cables are laid can be facilitated.;SOLUTION: When applying rust prevention to the inner surface of an existing pipe 3 in which a cable 2 is laid, an internal antirust applicator 1 for applying an antirust to the internal surface of the existing pipe 3 in a state where the cable 2 is kept passing is arranged in the existing pipe 3. The internal antirust applicator 1 has a structure characterized in having: a cable passing hole 5, penetrating in an anteroposterior traveling direction, inside in the radial direction thereof; an antirust seal section 6 in the outer periphery in the front part in the traveling direction; an antirust application section 7 for applying the antirust to the internal surface of the existing pipe 3, in the outer periphery in the rear part in the traveling direction; and an antirust storage section 9 for bringing the antirust into contact with the internal surface of the existing pipe 3, in a position in the outer periphery between the antirust seal section 6 in the front part in the traveling direction and the antirust application section 7 in the rear part. The antirust in the antirust storage section 9 is applied to the internal surface of the existing pipe 3 in the antirust application section 7 while making the internal antirust applicator 1 advance in the traveling direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
