PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an Fe-Cr-Al ferritic stainless steel excellent in thermal fatigue characteristic and high temperature oxidation characteristic. ;SOLUTION: The Fe-Cr-Al ferritic stainless steel has a composition consisting of, by weight, ≤0.03% C, 0.5% Si, ≤0.5% Mn, ≤0.04% P, ≤0.003% S, 15-20% Cr, ≤0.03% N, 3-5% Al, 0.1-0.3% Nb, 0.1-0.3% Ti, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and containing, if necessary, 0.01-0.20%, in total, of one or ≥2 kinds among rare earth elements. In this case, working strain equivalent to 0.3-1.0% rolling rate is applied to the cold rolled and annealed strip of this steel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
