PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel which is excellent in thermal fatigue properties, high temperature fatigue properties, oxidation resistance and high temperature salt damage corrosion resistance, without using Mo and W and also without causing deterioration in oxidation resistance due to addition of Cu.;SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel comrises, by mass%, ≤0.015% C, ≤1.0% Si, ≤0.50% Mn, ≤0.040% P, ≤0.010% S, 0.03 to 0.30% Al, 16 to 20% Cr, 0.8 to 1.6% Cu, 0.015 to 0.030% N, 0.30 to 0.60% V, Nb: 10×(C+N) to 0.60%, ≤0.01% Ti, ≤0.01% Zr, ≤0.01% Ta, ≤0.4% Ni, ≤0.1% Mo and ≤0.1% W, wherein the product (V×N) of the V content and the N content, satisfies 0.003 to 0.015, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
