PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a legal passing vehicle monitoring system and an illegal passing vehicle suppression method for suppressing a vehicle from illegally passing through a tollgate.;SOLUTION: This illegal passing vehicle suppression system 100 is provided with a vehicle identification information acquisition device 111 for acquiring vehicle identification information for identifying a vehicle passing through a tollgate; illegal passage notification means 116 and 121 for outputting an illegal passage signal showing that the vehicle has illegally passed through the tollgate; an illegal passing vehicle monitoring device 112 for outputting the vehicle identification information of an illegal passing vehicle acquired by the vehicle identification information acquisition device 111 according to an illegal passage signal output by the illegal passage notification means 116 and 121; and a warning display device 151 for displaying warning to the illegal passing vehicle according to the vehicle identification information of the illegal passing vehicle output by the illegal passing vehicle monitoring device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
