PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road pavement separation breaker and a road pavement separation engineering method, very favorably performing separation of pavement, and achieving efficient pavement knocking by bending or breaking the separated pavement.;SOLUTION: This road pavement separation breaker includes: a fixed jaw part 2; a movable jaw part 3 rockable to be freely opened and closed to a fixed breaking surface 21 of the fixed jaw part; a casing 1 where the fixed jaw part 2 is integrally formed and the movable jaw part 3 is pivotally connected; a hydraulic cylinder 4 housed in the casing 1 and adapted to rock the movable jaw part 3; and a rear separating blade 5 formed to project from the rear end part of the base part 12 side of the casing 1 outward in the width direction of the casing 1.
