PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate partial discharge electromagnetic waves from a noise, and to easily discriminate the partial discharge electromagnetic waves from the noise.;SOLUTION: An antenna 11 is arranged in the vicinity of electric equipment whose partial discharge is detected. A received partial discharge signal is distributed to a plurality of portions by a distributor 13 through an amplifier 12 and input into band-pass filters 141 to 14k. The signals F1, F2-Fk are delivered to an output. The signals F1, F2-Fk are input into a pulse converter 151 to 15k, and to its output, pulse signals P1, P2-Pk are delivered. The high frequency components of the pulse signals are cut, thus simplifying the data and making handling easy. Pulse output signals are input into a signal extraction part 16, where it is extracted whether they may be electromagnetic wave signals by partial discharge. A signals S output from the signal extraction part 16 is analyzed and processed as a partial discharge electromagnetic wave in a signal processing part 17, and a determination part 18 determines existence of partial discharge electromagnetic waves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
