PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable electromagnetic wave information even when irradiation is performed with electromagnetic waves for imaging at timing not linked with standby timing before imaging.;SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave information detection system includes: a plurality of photoelectric converters 304 provided with a first electrode 346, a plurality of second electrodes 336, and a photoelectric conversion layer 340; a plurality of normally-on transistors 320 connected to the plurality of second electrodes; a gate voltage control means 242 for controlling the gate voltage of the plurality of transistors; a potential supply means 246 for supplying a predetermined potential to the first electrode; a control means 210 for controlling the gate voltage control means and the potential supply means; and an electromagnetic wave detection means 280 for detecting the electromagnetic waves and transmitting electromagnetic wave detection signals. The potential for imaging is supplied to the first electrode, the gate voltage of the plurality of transistors is turned to 0V as well, and when the electromagnetic wave detection signal is received, control is executed so as to supply the potential for imaging to the first electrode and to also supply an off voltage to the gates of the plurality of transistors.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
