PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the attitude of a camera accurately by means of a vibration control lens. PSOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging part 3 for capturing an image via the vibration control lens 2; a vibration control lens drive part 6 for maintaining a position of the vibration control lens 2 in directions perpendicular to an optical axis on the basis of a voltage; a servo control part 11 for superimposing an oscillating waveform on the voltage applied to the vibration control lens drive part 6; and a determination means for determining whether the voltage applied from the servo control part 11 to the vibration control lens drive part 6 exceeds a predetermined threshold to determine the attitude of a device body.
