PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and improve starting performance upon the start of an internal combustion engine, in a variable valve control device of the internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle. PSOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle, which can travel by using an engine 101 and an electric motor 102 as a power source, is provided with: an air intake adjustable valve mechanism 26 for changing the rotation phase of a crank shaft 110 and an air intake cam shaft 21 of the engine 101; an oil control valve 60 as a first driving means for driving the air intake adjustable valve mechanism 26 so that the rotation phase of the air intake cam shaft 21 can become the maximum retard angle phase upon the stop of the engine 101; and positioning mechanisms 81 and 82 as a second driving means for driving the air intake adjustable value mechanism 26 so that the rotation phase of the air intake cam shaft 21 can become the phase with advance angle from the maximum retard angle phase only by specified amount upon the low temperature start of the engine 101.
