PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the wobble of an inner boom member in moving while preventing an increase in pad wear.;SOLUTION: In this pad device 2 for a telescopic boom 4, a first wedge member 18 and a second wedge member 20 have a first slant 18a and a second slant 20a which are in sliding contact with each other. These slants 18a, 20a are inclined toward both a first direction D1 vertically approaching and separated with respect to the outer surface of the sidewall part 8b of the inner boom member 8 and a second direction D2 parallel to the sidewall part 8b, and are so inclined that the springing force of a coil spring 14 in the second direction D2 is converted into force pressing a pad 16 to the outer surface of the sidewall part 8b of the inner boom member 8 by mutual sliding contact of the slants 18a, 20a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
