PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for sealed ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Poα ray source (α-particle emitter), and its manufacturing device, which allows use as an α-particle generation source for a random pulse generator.;SOLUTION: This sealed ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po α-ray source (α-particle emitter) manufacturing method comprises processes for: collecting ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po with a ²¹⁰Pb collector by radon collection; precipitating the collected ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po as a hydroxide to collect a precipitate therein with a polycarbonate (PC) filter; dissolving the ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po hydroxide precipitate to form a ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po radioactive thin film; and sealing the ²¹⁰Pb-²¹⁰Po radioactive thin film to be protected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
